Delicious local comfort food. We had the jerk chicken and brown stew chicken. And soo happy to have a new option on Doordash!! Love it!!
We were SO excited to try this place out! We had seen some Facebook reviews that were a little odd ... talking about "bones" being in the food ... but we thought those were probably silly, so we stopped in, anyway! (I mean, seriously, animals have bones!!) We tried the Jerk Chicken and Curried Goat and threw in my favorite, Plantain. The flavors were ok, although a little "off." We took it home, settled in for our feast, and quickly found out about the "bones." There were SO MANY bone pieces and shards in this food, we both eventually gave up out of frustration. A decent cook would carefully butcher the meat, not pound it with a mallet or drive over it with a tractor ... repeatedly. We're not real sure why the health department hasn't shut this place down, but we definitely won't be back and do not recommend it to ANYONE.
The food is delicious! We had the jerked pork and the meat was buttery, seasoned well, and had rice to go with it. The size of the meal was great for the price. I'm excited to go back.
