Had the BEST chop steak with fried onions that I have ever had. Fried okra, collard greens and corn bread was hot. Wait time fir food was less than 10 minutes. Very good service!
It has a pretty solid regular crowd, so some of the food is decent--it just hasn't been anything I've ordered. My spinach, cheese & tomato omelet was rather runny & came with canned spinach, truly a first for me. They did offer to replace it when they saw I was struggling. The club sandwich I had another time was edible, not particularly good or bad. However, my partner says the biscuits are fresh & that their sausage gravy is "pretty good". He's a bit of a sausage gravy & biscuits connoisseur so it's a decent recommendation. He one time ate half a bag of dog treats before telling me that the new cookies I got were "pretty good" as well though, so take it as you will. Service is above average, very pleasant & personable. Seems like they connect with their regulars in a way I appreciate.
Stopped for lunch. Waitress was polite, helpful, attentive and friendly. Good variety on the menu. Food was delivered fresh and hot. Everything we ordered was delicious. Servings were larger than expected, easily shareable. Restaurant was clean....It was nice to go somewhere where no one had an issue. Will definitely go again.
