Went on a Tuesday, quiet and relaxing environment. The hookah was on point. The restaurant has a good menu as in not your generic menu like any other Mediterranean restaurant, it has some specials and the server recommended it also explaining in detail, which is very appreciated. Unlike other Mediterranean restaurants you don’t get your generic pita bread, this freshly baked bread was literally OUT OF THE WORLD, one has to try it literally experience it. The meal/special itself was very delicious. I wasn’t that hungry but finished the whole thing, the meat was tender, the garlic, tomato and spices went very very well. Definitely going back and trying other specials.
Good place for food and vibes !!! I like it as there is consistency at this place !!! Visit for Lebanese cuisine and vibes
I had a great experience at Wasfi’s during Ramadan. The Iftar open buffet had a nice variety of Mediterranean dishes, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere was warm and perfect for breaking the fast with family and friends. A very nice touch was the owner walking around and checking on the guests, making sure everyone was happy and taken care of. That kind of attention really makes the experience better.
I came here on January 17th, 2026, and the atmosphere and food was top notch, we ordered a mixed shawarma plate, a falafel plate, and a mixed kabob platter, and it was delicious, the prices are reasonable and the hookah was high quality. There is live music singing every Saturday and very entertaining. 10/10 would recommend
**Read edit 1** We went there with a family of six, including a baby. The cold and hot mezza were all of decent quality (8/10). The fattoush and tabbouleh were also 8/10. For the main entrée, the mixed grilled meat was 9/10, and the today's special, which was Kabsa rice, was great (10/10). The staff were nice and friendly. The hookahs were great as well (10/10). The only thing that was really upsetting was the ventilation of the whole space. It's a closed restaurant, and the ventilation seems to be insufficient for the number of hookahs, which put you in a continuous second-hand smoking environment that is unbearable for adults and, most importantly, for any children. I asked if we could open the windows, but they said they don't open. We went home coughing and got sick the next day, along with our daughter, and she stayed sick for two weeks. We didn't expect the environment to be unsafe for children. It would've been one of the best eating spots in Houston if there wasn't a problem with ventilation. **Edit 1** We went back for breakfast as a group of three. We asked about a non-smoking area, and there was one near the main door, so we sat there. The staff were nice, as usual. We ordered foul medames (9/10), eggs and sujuk (10/10), shanklish (10/10), makanek (it was sour, 1/10), qudsiyah (10/10), and the fresh bread (10/10). I want to mention that the olive oil is one of the best we have tried in the US. One of the best spots in Houston to enjoy Middle Eastern cuisine.
We tried penne pasta and cheeseburgers — they were so delicious! I also recommend the banana honey milk.
From the moment we walked in, our experience at Wasfi's was nothing short of wonderful. This is a must-visit for anyone looking for truly authentic Lebanese cuisine and an evening filled with warmth and culture. However, the entire experience was elevated by the exceptional service, particularly from our server, Sandra. She was incredibly humble, sweet, and attentive, checking on us just the right amount and making us feel genuinely cared for throughout the meal. Sandra is a true gem and a credit to the restaurant's staff! To top it all off, the atmosphere was magical. The addition of live music and singers performing Arabic songs created an immersive and joyful environment that truly transported us. It was the perfect backdrop to a delicious dinner.
We visited Houston for a medical appointment and after a 3-hour drive and finishing our check-up, we decided to have lunch in the city. A friend recommended Wasfie’s Grill, a Middle Eastern restaurant he had tried before. It was our first time there. The restaurant was spacious with multiple seating areas. We sat down and found the menu already on the table. About five minutes later, a waitress came to take our order, but we asked for more time to decide. Her attitude was somewhat dry and not very welcoming. When she returned after around 10 minutes, I asked if they had Mansaf, as I had seen it on the menu, but she informed me that it’s only served after 1:00 PM — and it was around 12:00 noon at the time. So, we ended up ordering a mixed grill platter that included chicken tikka, kebab, and lamb tikka, along with rice and drinks. She suggested increasing the order size since we were three people. The first platter cost $45 and the second about $20. However, no recommendations were made for daily specials or signature dishes, which is something we usually expect from the staff to help enhance the experience. The food was tasty, especially the chicken and meat. After the meal, I went to the restroom, and when I returned, I requested the bill to pay for my friends as a surprise. I was shocked when the total came to $105, including a pre-added tip without any prior notice or consent. This automatic tipping felt a bit unfair. Overall Thoughts: The food was good, and the place was clean and spacious. However, the service needs improvement — especially in terms of friendliness and communication. Also, customers should be clearly informed if a tip is going to be added automatically to the bill.
