The food is very delicious. I love the Eru, the Jollof rice, and spaghetti in particular. I might try out the rest of the menu one of these days.
I ordered Egusi soup on the 4th of March,2026. Good thing that It arrived early and on time as stated online. Had no issues with the fufu/swallow. However, when I opened the soup plate and tasted it, it was sandy. I thought it was a joke. To my greatest suprise 😭😭 after heating the soup and decided to eat everything, it was a horrible experience.. the soup was sandy and I had nothing to eat yesterday night.. I’m dropping this review because of how painful it was.
WEST African Cuisine is my favorite resturant in Grand Forks. Everything we've ordered has been phenomenal. The chicken, plantains, fish, and goat soup have to be some of the tastiest around. Everything is flavorful, hot, and fresh. I especially love the meat pies. No matter what we are getting, those have to be on the order too. Don't sleep on this hidden gem in Columbia Mall. If you order on Doordash they have an even more extensive menu. 10/10 recommend.
