6 months agoFirst time here and I’m not really sure why this place has 4 stars, first time there and will definitely not be back. My husband got a steak which had more fat than anything, I got fish that was thin and crispy which tasted like it had been fried hours ago. The baked potatoes were pitiful with the fake bacon bits. We drove over a hour here to try it out only to be a complete waste.

10 months agoI must apologize for stumbling into a good ol boys meeting. Not messed up bout what folk do in they on yard but u could atleast advertise no "others" welcome. Will never ever ever ever waste a spit in a bucket and return to that "peculiar" establishment. Nor the generations after me.

a year agoThe staff was very friendly and the food is good and the prices are fair. Lost a star because it’s a waterfront restaurant without any water views. Kinda blows my mind how NONE of the indoor tables (or the bar) are places you can sit and watch the water go by. There’s a patio but it looks to be in disrepair and the door to the patio has a sign begging patrons not to open it.

a year agoFamily get together. Their first time visiting. Friday night with reservations. Arrived to no table being set. 2 of us had no silverware until fish came. All the ketchup, tarter sauce and sauce for cole slaw were empty (total of 9). Had to wait for another table to leave to grab theirs. BIL ordered fish as well but waitress dropped a piece on the floor and never brought him another. I told cashier about experience and she apologized and said they were not expecting such crowds and were understaffed. Unfortunately, they said they would never return. Heather I hate that I missed you. I know you would want to know.

a year agoFish had a mud cat taste, unable to eat it. Tartar sauce was plain mayonnaise, coleslaw dressing was awful, usually very good. Very disappointing. Unless it gets better, I don't see it staying open much longer.

a year agoAsk for nearly rare steak and for $30plus for a steak..one expects it to be right.nope. was well done. No I didn't send it back. Didn't want to wait an hour for replacement. 3rd time this has happened at westshore.

7 years agoVery welcoming and friendly staff. Food was delicious, ordered the seafood comb plate,which included frog legs, fried shrimp, boiled shrimp, fried oysters, & catfish which was cooked perfectly. Their hushpuppies were also scrumptious. Definitely need to stop by and enjoy.

8 years agoWe had a party of 32! Had made reservations for 25! They made room for us. We had the best waitress! She was PERFECT!! 32 orders without a problem. Drinks stayed full. Food was perfect and came fast! This was our 3rd party there. We plan on having many more!!
