Great food. I love supporting small businesses. I have been going here for over 30 years.
Being from out of town, I was told I should try this specific Windy City hot dog. The girl working there said she used to live in the area and still drives there to get her hot dogs and stuff. I was immediately welcomed by the family. I did not feel like an outsider, and when I ordered, he suggested what I ordered and how he would eat it. So I made a slight adjustment. I'm glad I did. I recommend the chili cheese onion hot dog with giardiniera, and, of course, the Chicago dog. Even the fries are killer. and they're the kind that are perfectly crisp on the outside but soft in the center, and you can lay them on top of your hot dog. Can I get an oh yeah!!! We even gabbed about outside of Lake Geneva in Wisconsin, the brat and cheese factory, and he said he's going to take his sons up there this summer. Here's your reminder, thanks for a great dinner.
Always greeted with a smile and quick wit from the chef. Never disrespectful but always quick. The food is all good for fast food. Dogs are great as far a Chicago hotdogs go. The fried pickles are great, and they have a BBQ rib sandwich that makes me forget McWho?
