See All ReviewsI visited Windy City Subs in Worth, IL and ordered a chicken salad, which was already $15. I asked for an extra dressing and made it clear that I didn’t mind paying for it. Instead of being told how much it was or being rung up properly, the manager stood there chewing gum loudly, smacking his mouth, and barely acknowledged me. There was no “one moment please,” no explanation, no customer service at all. It felt dismissive and rude. What made it worse was that I noticed he was polite and friendly with other customers, but spoke to me as if I were an inconvenience for simply asking a question. I did not cause a scene, I wasn’t loud, and I was respectful. I was there to support a local business and pick up food for my husband, but the way I was treated made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. Honestly, it felt like discrimination. Because of this experience, I will not be returning, and they’ve lost my patronage. Customer service matters, especially from someone who identifies themselves as a manager.
HORRIBLE customer service. The lady at the drive thru makes it seem like she doesn’t want to be at work EVER. Clearly told her 2 shakes she handed us one. When we tried to get her attention she closed the window on us.
The food is tasty but I was shocked by the quantity of meat in my gyros plate. It was just a gyros sandwich in a container with fries and fixings. Everywhere else I get a gyros plate it has enough meat for 2 or 3 sandwiches.the subs seemed to be lacking meat as well. Again first time getting it there and was just surprised.
