Just had our 1st round of pasties at home (beef) that we bought back in July. They stayed great in the freezer. We baked ours for 20 min at 375 and the crust was golden brown and still flaky. And the inside was still moist (especially the roast beef), just like it was fresh. Cant wait to visit again in the summer!
Do NOT miss this hidden gem on Highway 10 just east of Baldwin! I stopped today after recommendations from friends and picked up a beef pastie and gravy. Christine’s talents are not to be ignored! She restored integrity to the Michigan Pastie and her homemade gravy was amazing! The flaky crust was delicious and I’m still savoring the flavors. This is going to be dangerous! I drive by en route to Ludington frequently and I’m sure her ribs are a force to be reckoned with! Can’t wait to try them. Thanks Christine - you’re a treasure!
Amazing food and service!!!! So yummy. Will make a trip just to eat here again!!! PS: Gravy is a must with the Pastie! So good....Try it!!
