See All ReviewsIt's been 5 days of food poisoning, I vomited for 3 days, lost 17lbs and had to go to the hospital. The staff was super friendly. I know it was them becuase the day before all I had was a can of soup. The day of all I had was Wokahokic and the vegetables tasted off. They had their food piled high in the pans so it wasn't getting properly warmed. The chicken was so wood like it was impossible to chew. The texture was like wet balsa wood. I'll never go back. 20 bucks for a 4000 hospital bill was not worth it.
I placed my order through Uber Eats, and the delivery itself was punctual. Unfortunately, the food arrived only lukewarm, which did little to enhance the experience. The portions were indeed generous, but abundance cannot substitute for finesse. The pepper steak seemed to have forgotten its namesake spice altogether, replaced instead with an excess of salt. The vegetables, rather than retaining vibrancy and texture, were cooked into near anonymity. The chicken, while properly prepared, was cloaked in a sauce so cloyingly sweet it veered closer to syrup than any balanced glaze. Perhaps this reflects the local standard, but for me, it was a disappointing reminder that quantity without quality leaves one unsatisfied.
My favorite Chinese in Pensacola hands down! Always taste fresh and the honey chicken is my favorite. They give huge portions too, and for only $11 you can’t beat that.
