I've been a regular visitor to the Nature Conservancy for over two decades, sadly the area at and around Wolf Crossing has declined through vandalism, illegal ATVing, and people partying and trashing the crossing. Schooner Landing Road, the only improved road that accesses Wolf Crossing, has been permanently barricaded immediately after the interchange with Route 55 to prevent ATV access and after hours access for people who went back there to party. DOT also put up no parking/will tow signs at and around the barricade, and they are serious. There used to be interesting railroad signs and artifacts at Wolf Crossing, they've all been vandalized, broken, or stolen. Connection to surrounding trails are ample, bur increasingly the surrounding trails have been torn up by illegal ATVing and can be challenging because of large mud puddles and lack of signs, markers, and guide posts.
