The entrance to the parking lot & transition to Davidsons Mill Road needs a little work.. the place is kept up well enough. Lots of coyote presence. The tracks in the snow suggest this is where multiple territories converge mostly along the transmission right of way. Maybe keep the dog on a leash.. the trails, fields and rights-of-way can lead you to Pigeon Swamp and with some creativity, you can find a 2-mile loop.

An OK short trail in the Van Dyke Farm preserve. As far as I know, this is the only place you can safely park your car and enter the Van Dyke property.
