See All ReviewsI know this place was previously know as Finn Thai. I have done several reviews on this exact location which sells literally the same food with different names. I keep telling myself I need to give a chance over and over again. Because in our area theres is not alot of Thai restaurants. At this point im willing to drive anywhere but come to this place. I had ordered a papaya salad and a other dish. I took 3 bites of the papaya salad and that was it. It was filled with lettuce all in the bottom, barely any papaya. For the price they are selling and what it used to be you should have alot more papaya. I have been continuously disappointed and om definitely done eating here. It may have different names, but same bad food services, trying to up the price for less the food.
First time. Stopped in for some soup on a rainy day hoping to soothe a sore throat. Exceptional service, phenomenal food. I had the Lemongrass soup with Chicken as well as an order of Crispy Tofu (the peanut sauce is to die for). Even the hot tea was delicious and presented exceptionally well. Chef came out to make sure everything was well liked and everything. Highly recommend!
After reading so many high mark reviews I decided to give this place a try as I frequently pass this area on my way to the VA. Ordered Pad Thai w/ Vegetable & Tofu, Drunken Noodles w/ Chicken, Chili Basil w/ Vegetable & Tofu, Panang Curry w/ Vegetable & Tofu. In all, the tofu was dismal, a rubbery shell of what used to be tofu. The vegetables were very sparce,w/broccoli having been overcooked to the point of being mushy. The basil was very good in both dishes that contained it. The sauce for the Pad Thai was just ok, although not very authentic in flavor. The sauce for the Drunken Noodles was actually the only highlight, unfortunately I had to spend time separating my blob of noodles to get them covered in it (this may possibly have been due to take out time to get it home). Once that was done the dish was quite tasty. The Panang Curry was quite tasty but the sauce was very thin (very disappointing to not have that rich creamy consistency). I have had the food in Thailand (many times) and countless times here in the U.S. I consider Thai to be my number one "go to" food. I will likely give Wynn Thai another shot (probably as a dine in visit) but I think I will do a "hard pass" on the tofu options. As a side note, I was shocked when told that Pineapple Rice (Hawaiian Stir Fried Rice as they call it) was over $20 per order! The restaurant was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly. At the time of my visit there were no customers in the dining room so it was very quiet.
