See All ReviewsWe stopped here on a whim as we were driving through the area and we were pleasantly surprised. Service was amicable and food was fresh and delicious. Will return if we find ourselves around again.
It’s hard to find good halal food outside of NYC, so I was really happy when Yalla Mr. Halal opened. When they first started out the service was a little slow, but that’s pretty normal for a new spot. I’ve been going pretty often since then and they’ve definitely found their rhythm. It’s not fancy, but the place is kept nice and the seating area is comfortable. The food has that classic NYC halal cart vibe, which I love. The owner is friendly, and I’m glad there’s finally another quick option in town that isn’t just Chinese or pizza. The food is legit good — I’ve tried the gyros and the over-rice dishes and everything has been delicious. Even my family, who isn’t very adventurous with food, tried it for the first time (they’d never had halal before) and they loved it. Prices are solid, and they’ve got plenty of kid-friendly meals too. They also have long hours, including breakfast, which is really nice. Overall, I really hope this place sticks around because they’re honestly very good in my opinion.
This has become a go-to spot for me. The chicken over rice is fantastic. Quality chicken over an excellent bed of rice all of which is beautifully seasoned. A very warm and comforting meal. The customer service has always been top tier and the owner is a genuine and kind individual. Highly recommend checking them out
