See All ReviewsAbsolutely appalling. I placed an order at 7:03pm and spent over £60. The payment went through immediately... yep that part worked perfectly. Everything after that? A complete failure. For over two and a half hours, I repeatedly tried calling the restaurant while it was OPEN. My calls were ignored. Not busy. Just flat-out ignored. No delivery. No update. No explanation. No apology. Let that sink in: over £60 taken, and the customer completely disregarded. This wasn’t a minor delay. This wasn’t a misunderstanding. This was a business choosing not to communicate with a paying customer. And before anyone asks about the food... I can’t comment on it. It didn’t arrive. If you’re comfortable spending your money on uncertainty and silence, go ahead. If not, order somewhere that understands the absolute basics of customer service. Unacceptable
Truly a groundbreaking dining experience... mainly because the food never arrived and the customer service was apparently playing hide and seek. I placed my order at 7:03pm and spent over £60. Clearly, that unlocked the premium “silent treatment” package. For over two and a half hours, I tried calling the restaurant... while it was open and was treated to the soothing sound of absolutely silence... yes... no one answers. It’s genuinely impressive how efficiently you can take a payment, yet completely vanish when it’s time to communication. No update. No explanation. No apology. Just ignored vibes. If the aim was to test how long a paying customer can sit in confusion before accepting they’ve been ghosted by a takeaway, congratulations, this experiment was successful. I didn’t realise my order came with a complimentary lesson in patience and disappointment. Would not recommend unless you enjoy donating money in exchange for silence. If you want one that’s even colder and more cutting “smile while I destroy you” they got that too. I would love to comment on the food… truly. Unfortunately, I can’t... because it never arrived. So while I can’t rate the quality of the meals, I can confidently rate the service 'nonexistent'. If this is the standard of customer care, then the expectations here are clearly set very, very low if they have any care at all.
The food was more than I ordered and was on point. I ordered waakye, fish, chicken and all it comes with for my son’s baptism and people were coming for seconds and took some home. The chicken and fish were very tasty. The owners delivered the food personally and brought them in. The only thing I will ask for is bigger piece so if fish. However 9/10 for the food and service with a smile. I would recommend Yam Spice. Thank you so so much for catering
