3 months agoNot sure what happened but maybe the cook needs some help. Ordered the steak Oscar and the crab cake was burnt. I ordered a side of mashed potatoes and a side of Mac n cheese. I got down to opening the Mac n cheese and the smell of burnt food was and still is in that container. It was a pretty strong smell of burnt food. Also ordered a buffalo chicken dip with pita, don’t see how paying $15 for an appetizer that you only get literally half of a to go container. I have ordered these same things all the time and they are always spot on and the portions are just right, this time not so much. Maybe the kitchen needs more help if the food is getting burnt and we’re still serving burnt food to customers.

3 months agoI ordered a 2 burgers, ( Pink) the outside was charred, the inside well done. ( delivered) The fries were so short I had to pick them up in bunches to eat.

6 months ago⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hidden Gem with Exceptional Service and Flavorful Food! We visited this local restaurant last night and were absolutely blown away! Even though they were understaffed due to two call-outs, the incredible gentleman who took care of us went above and beyond—he handled everything: host, waiter, bartender, cook, AND busser. And let me tell you—he did it all with kindness, efficiency, and a smile. 🍹 Drinks: Our drinks were delicious and well-made. I enjoyed a refreshing Orange Crush, and my mother-in-law loved her Apple Martini—perfectly mixed and flavorful! 🍽️ Appetizers: Crabby Fries – Tasty and satisfying. Bang Bang Strip – Hands down our favorite starter! Perfectly seasoned with just the right kick. 🍗 Wings (Wing Night!): My daughter and I each ordered boneless wings. She had Lemon Pepper, and I had Garlic Parmesan. They were outstanding! The batter was crispy and flavorful, the wings were fresh, and the portions were generous. 🥗 Southwest Chicken Salad: My mother-in-law ordered this, and it was impressive—very large portion, easily shareable. The chicken was moist, full of flavor, and the dressing tied it all together perfectly. 🥪 Cheesesteak Sandwiches: My husband and father-in-law both had the cheesesteak with fries—10 out of 10 for flavor and portion size! 💡 Atmosphere: It’s a cozy local spot that might not look like much from the outside, but don’t let that fool you! We were the only ones there on a Sunday, and it felt like we had a private dining experience with our own chef.

6 months agoI've been here a few times and have had an exceptional time each visit. The service is great and the steaks are phenomenal, possibly the best in the area!! The rest of the food was really good also - crab cake, Mac and cheese, burgers, fries. I highly recommend this place. I definitely want to check out one of the special events upcoming on the calendar, like trivia or singo!

a year agoI don’t usually write reviews, but Yocko’s in Minersville really deserves the praise. I stopped in after hearing good things and ended up having one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. The steak was absolutely spot-on—tender, flavorful, and grilled just right. You can tell they know their way around quality ingredients. The atmosphere was great too—laid-back, welcoming, and full of that classic small-town charm. It felt like the kind of place where everyone knows each other, but newcomers still feel right at home. The staff was friendly and made the whole experience even better. Definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area—I’ll be back for sure.

a year agoWas in town for a wedding and stopped by Yocko’s after hearing some good things, definitely glad I did. The Pottsburger was delicious, and the fries were cooked just right. You can tell they take pride in what they make. Prices were really reasonable too, which was a nice surprise. The staff was super friendly and made me feel right at home, even though I’m not from the area. It’s a simple, no-frills spot but honestly that’s what made it feel so welcoming. If I’m ever back around Minersville, I’d 100% come here again.

2 years agoKind of a hidden gem. Food was good especially the steak. Used some sort of reduction with it and was amazing. Fajitas came out sizzling and portion sizes are decent.

3 years agoLarge bar with plenty of seats and tight table seating for about 40 people. Full bar with drink specials. Large menu focused on tex Mex and Steak entrees. Fresh chips and salsa brought before entrees. Food was great and the service was even better. Hard to find parking can be problematic.
