For me ordering online was the way to go. The food was ready when I got there and I genuinely enjoyed my fufu & egusi. I’ll be back to try the fufu and peanut soup. Prices are definitely higher than expected but that’s everything these days. Overall I had a good experience.
Very poor customer service. Sat down for 6min plus without any one asking me what I wanted. Finally went to the reception and she was like " let me finish eating first. Please be nice next time, though your food isn't bad.
You guys need to do better with your CUSTOMER SERVICE! You’re answering the phone and talking to 10 other people, I was told my food would be ready in 15 minutes, when I got there I had to ask multiple times if my food was ready before they could attend to me, because they were attending to people that got there after me. I ordered yam and turkey! Please clean the turkey better there was hair on it, my food was SOAKED in oil, the food tasted like it was FRIED in STALE/REUSE oil, I couldn’t finish it!
When I tell you this is more than good it is I couldn’t even wait to give a proper picture while the food was there …… the best you see the results I had okra soup / stew 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥OMG I coming back later before yall close to get some more . Support this restaurant …… all they other dishes taste amazing too ….. Proud Supporter ❤️💛💚🖤
We love supporting local places and this place is very authentic. Long wait as there was only 1 person working the food and cashier, but it was fine, we had time and weren’t in a rush. The food itself was alright… nothing to write home about. The jollof rice was very flavorful, the goat was dry and chewy. Massive portion size. Probably won’t be back as we have had better in Columbus.
I tried them today 10/05/2024 and the food and drinks were great. The only issue I had was that the wait time for my food was too long. I think they need someone who takes orders, another person serving the food for those who are taking the food away, and one or two people serving customers who want to eat at the restaurant. One good thing is that the customer service is great, so it takes away from the long wait. I also suggest that the sauce for the atsieke must have a mild and hot version because not everyone can withstand the hot one. The food servings are big enough to feed two people per plate 🍽 😋 Overall, I will recommend this place if you want authentic Ghanaians and African dishes.
Really enjoyable experience. The staff was super friendly and the food was awesome! Tried the Beef Suqaar, Chicken Gyro, and Beef Sambosa. All were delicious!
Today was my first time visiting. The sweet older woman working the restaurant was so welcoming! I waited about 10-12 minutes for my order of 4 sambusa, and beef with vegetables over rice. I was okay with that, because I knew it was being made fresh. This is some of the best food I've ever had, period. Will definitely be back.
