What a wonderful dining experience we enjoyed during our first visit to Aquario. Friends had recommended the restaurant but we didn't know what to expect. Huge portions and excellent, warm service. We surely will return!
Very nice and neat restaurant hiding in White Plains. The grouper is very fresh with good price. The octopus is excellent, better than the one I have at Fish Gourmet. The rice stew with shellfish is just fantastic.
We looking for a place to dining in, this was the best selection yummy 😋😋😋😋. I would definitely recommend it. And I will come back again.
Probably one of my favorite restaurants - I've been going here my entire life (30+ yrs). The shrimp + cognac sauce (appetizer) and a steak are non-negotiables, though I switch it up between the sirloin and ribeye with shrimp. The roast potatoes that come with the steak are soooo good and unique. Anything else added in is great too -octopus, asparagus, prosciutto + melon, shrimp cocktail. I'm not a huge clam fan, but my family loves the steamers. Manny, Elaine, and Tony are all wonderful and always make you feel welcome. Longest standing restaurant in Silver Lake for good reason.
Delicious Portuguese restaurant, good portions (specially with the cocktails, they serve very generous portions) Great for sharing, family style, all the seafood is great! a Portuguese and Brazilian restaurant known for its authentic cuisine, featuring fresh seafood, meats, and traditional dishes like Caldo Verde and Paella, served in a setting with views of Silver Lake. It offers a diverse menu with options for lunch, dinner, and drinks, including gluten-free choices, and is praised for its consistent quality, friendly service, and classic atmosphere with murals and dark wood.
The restaraunt looks small from the outside but it's huge inside. It's very well decorated with Portugal contents, which was adorable. (See pic) The servers were very professional but still remained personal with us. The ambiance inside gives off vibes like the restaurants over seas which was a nice feeling. The food... we all had different feelings in regards to the food. Personally I thought my food was delicious. I had the puree of vegetable soup as an appetizer and following I had the grilled fish. All their meals comes with fries, rice and beans; which was enough for me to share with my Gf bc it was such a huge portion. My husband and one of our bf's both had steaks and they weren't too pleased as it was filled with fat. For appetizers we also tried clams casino, and melon with prosciutto. For dessert I had rice pudding one of my favorite Portuguese desserts. I would come back. **+by the way, the owner will be closing the restaraunt in two years, retiring and moving back to Portugal. If you want to try this place come before he shuts down. ***
I heard so many amazing things about this place so I decided to go and check it out. It will say the decor is a little dated, not that that matters to me. The food was excellent and very fairly priced service was excellent. Do you will only one thing that me and my dinner partner were not thrilled with was the classical rock cover tunes that were played. Something a little bit more restaurant like would have been appreciated. I'll definitely go back and I will recommend this place to everyone I know. Excellent seafood. It was a little strange that they served us grapes that look like they should have been thrown away with the brown ends.
I was taken here for my birthday and we brought a birthday cake. The servers was excellent!!! The food was very good. My scallops was a little over done but still tasted yummy. The potatoes with the chicken was a little bit too salty for my friends mom but she said her dish was very good otherwise. The seafood salad was really yummy. The trout with almonds was really good too. The server cut and set up the cake wonderfully. This place is a definitely go back to and definitely recommended this place. This place is exceptional. My new place to go.
