2 months agoFood tastes good, self service line ti order is confusing but for $22 you get a sandwich the size to feed a toddler.

3 months agoI recently had the pleasure of being assisted by Courtney at DCA, and I have to say she completely made my day! She was incredibly pleasant, warm, and genuinely grateful — qualities that are so refreshing to encounter. Courtney is exactly the kind of person who makes you feel valued as a customer. DCA is lucky to have her, and I truly hope she gets the recognition she deserves. We need more people like Courtney! Jose, manager was great as well.

4 months agoOn Sunday, March 1, 2026 I ordered a chef salad (build my own) from Boars Head. When I opened the container it was full of fresh greens, fresh turkey, ham, tomatoes and neatly sliced American and mozzarella cheeses. It was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS and so much food that it lasted all the way through my flights which were 5 hours. I will definitely be ordering that salad EVERY Time I get to DCA and am waiting to board a a flight in Terminal A. The staff was extremely helpful, courteous and professional. 5 Stars for sure!!!

7 months agoI ordered the Roast Chicken salad for $17, which was pricey for what it turned out to be. Over 1/2 the leaves were rotten and leaked on the iceberg leaves beside them, making the salad inedible. Quality control is absolutely missing.

a year agoThere were few food options at terminal one after security check. Boar’s Head had some options of salad and sandwiches. The sandwich was not cheap and the size was kind of small. I got the roast chicken one. The meat tasted good but there was no vegetable in it. I wish I could have a better taste at this price. Anyway, service was fast and it was easy to place the order. Unlimited sauce was provided.

a year agoDelicious roast beef with caramelized onion sandwich. Expensive for a sandwich but it's the airport so not unexpected. Onion rings were hot and crispy. Young guy helping with console check out was super kind and patient with customers who struggled. I'd eat here again.

a year agoI ordered a breakfast burrito and was pleasantly surprised — it was decently big and the fillings were balanced and fresh. Considering the ingredients, it was expensive at $11.50, but the price wasn’t that surprising considering the airport location in central DC. Honestly, the most offensive part of the experience was being asked if I wanted to tip 20% on an order I placed myself with an iPad and picked up myself when my name was called. There was literally zero service involved that would require a tip. Tipping culture has gotten utterly out of control and needs to be stopped. Boar’s Head, pay your employees a living wage and stop trying to guilt your customers into paying it for you.

3 years ago$13 for a salad with rotten slimy lettuce. Could you not smell the stench as you were preparing my salad? Hint: black lettuce that turns to mush when you touch it is spoiled. Strawberries were old. Yeah, I want to get diarrhea while on an airplane, as I'm starting my vacation. Somebody please report them to the health department! (Note: the dried cranberries and sliced almonds were not rotten. SMH...)
