7 months agoFound this BBQ joint while picking up my rental at Enterprise across the street. Enterprise employees gave a rave review. We tried the 2 meat (brisket and sausage) & 2 sides plate (rice salad and beans). We also added a rib. The entire meal was scrumptious. The brisket was cooked to perfection. It was moist. The ribs fall apart in your mouth. The sausage had great flavor. The rice salad was new to me and is very yummy. Beans had great flavor as well. We tried both barbecue sauces that were offered, regular and spicy, and both were very good! We will be back for sure. They do close when they sell out so go early enough in the day.

7 months agoToday is the first time we tried Charlie's. The portions are great. We got ribs and brisket with beans and potato salad. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The flavor and tenderness of the brisket and ribs were great. The beans had more cilantro than my husband likes but I liked it. Potato salad was good too. Would definitely recommend

8 months agoFirst timer today - super generous portions, super nice people. Ribs were exactly right, brisket slices were very thick, and the sauce was lovely. Highly recommend -

a year agoI accidentally stumbled upon this gem in Taylor and I was happy I did! There wasn’t a long wait and the smoked meats were well cooked(fat rendered) and tender. Potato salad was the side I chose and it was a blast from the past, old school style. The ribs had a fantastic bite to them! Kudos!

3 years agoThe BBQ was Amazing!!! The best I've had in a very long time and is family owned not a chain. Offered a variety of meats and sides.we highly recommend this over the big BBQ places in Taylor.

3 years agoWow! Great food. I had the loaded baked potato with brisket, cheese, sour cream, and jalapenos. It had to weigh in at 3 or 4 pounds! Seriously. Also had some ribs. Very meaty, nice and peppery. Sauce is a little sweet for my taste, but good. My wife had the brisket sandwich and said it was great, with a lot of brisket. Even better, it is a family run business.
