See All ReviewsStopped in during our road trip from Jersey. Been to many and this has been in our top two. Quick delicious lunch. Super friendly staff. Will be back if we are ever in the area again.
When we arrived at the restaurant we waited to be seated for nearly 10 minutes while at least 4 different employees walked by the host station. When we finally did get a table, our server didn't even come to take our drink order for another 15 minutes because she was cleaning a table. It would've been understandable if they were busy, but there were hardly any other diners in the place, so she could have at least asked what we wanted to drink while we looked at the menu. Nonetheless, we waited patiently for our food to come out. When our food finally did arrive, the fried okra we ordered wasn't even cooked all the way. I'd have to say this was the worst cracker barrel experience I've ever had. We stopped on our 12 hour drive up to Virginia, and now we're leaving this cracker barrel disappointed and late getting to our destination. Would not recommend eating at this establishment.
Everything was so greasy. I ordered the garlic steak bites and all you can taste is the oil. My daughter got an egg sandwich and her hands were covered in grease. The lemons were brown, they had no napkins. The waitress was so nice! That was probably the only good part
