the food here is really good and inexpensive and the staff is very friendly
I've tried Cuban food some other times and it hasn't been that good, however I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food in this place was. Generous portions and exquisite flavor. The service was amazing too, our waitress was extremely helpful and courteous.
I’m so glad places like this still exist. Not far from the glitzy overpriced foolishness in Wynwood, I was greeted with a smile as soon as I walked in the door. Sat at a clean table and brought freshly buttered warm Cuban toast. My waitress was very nice. The menu selection was large and I had a delicious palomilla steak sandwich, plantains, and a soda for less than $10. Bravo. Keep it simple old Florida. My only negative comment was regarding limited parking, but hey, you’re near downtown Miami. I was visiting from Tampa on business, but I will be back!
