See All ReviewsHad such an amazing experience at El pueblito de Frida! The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavor, but what really made our visit special was the outstanding service from Esther. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect for us. We felt so welcomed the entire time. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to soon—highly recommend!
Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the prices are very reasonable, especially for the five mini tacos. I was surprised the restaurant wasn’t more crowded during lunch. The goat was well-seasoned, the lamb was very tasty, and the beef (which reminded me of steak) was excellent. I also sampled the chicken and al pastor, and both had great flavor, though I was too full to finish them after the first three. If you’re looking for a place where you truly get great value for your money, this is definitely worth a visit. You won’t be disappointed. 🌮
I was hoping to speak to management about this before writing a review but no one seems to be answering the phone today. (We called 3 times prior to ordering to go to no answer.) We ordered the flautas to go and received fried cheese taquitos with a side of chicken salad. As this was one of the most traditional Mexican recipes on any menu, I can’t imagine any situation where you’d have to check the order if you didn’t make any changes, which we didn’t. This is just ridiculous. Is there somewhere in Mexico that makes flautas like this? Because if this is their standard recipe it should be noted on their menu or represented better in the photo. The chicken is seasoned well but dry. The cheese taquitos are fine. These aren’t flautas. My husband noted that they seem understaffed.
