Had such an amazing experience at El pueblito de Frida! The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavor, but what really made our visit special was the outstanding service from Esther. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect for us. We felt so welcomed the entire time. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to soon—highly recommend!
Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the prices are very reasonable, especially for the five mini tacos. I was surprised the restaurant wasn’t more crowded during lunch. The goat was well-seasoned, the lamb was very tasty, and the beef (which reminded me of steak) was excellent. I also sampled the chicken and al pastor, and both had great flavor, though I was too full to finish them after the first three. If you’re looking for a place where you truly get great value for your money, this is definitely worth a visit. You won’t be disappointed. 🌮
I was hoping to speak to management about this before writing a review but no one seems to be answering the phone today. (We called 3 times prior to ordering to go to no answer.) We ordered the flautas to go and received fried cheese taquitos with a side of chicken salad. As this was one of the most traditional Mexican recipes on any menu, I can’t imagine any situation where you’d have to check the order if you didn’t make any changes, which we didn’t. This is just ridiculous. Is there somewhere in Mexico that makes flautas like this? Because if this is their standard recipe it should be noted on their menu or represented better in the photo. The chicken is seasoned well but dry. The cheese taquitos are fine. These aren’t flautas. My husband noted that they seem understaffed.
I definitely don't know where to start first I was going to celebrate my birthday and we let the hostess know that we were going to that! second we ordered the food and waited 1 hour and there were so many people Third, the taste of the food is really nothing to do, I dedicate myself to doing reviews on TikTok and several platforms we visit places as recommended And this place I do not recommend! I gave it two stars just for the natural waters but it's all! This was the second time I went but I won't come back
Food is always delicious and beautifully presented. This place gets super busy so time of the arrival of your food is always hit or miss. But this place is loved for the food and drinks. Delicious margaritas! Shrimp appetizer is the BEST! Cool place to take pictures. Good vibes!
Good vibes and tasty food. Service and atmosphere: All staff members were friendly and professional. They didn't luck in attentiveness front either. The restaurant was clean, nicely decorated and offered many seating arrangements. Food and drinks: Genuine and authentic. Plenty to choose from. All dishes have good flavours and right amount of seasoning. Home made tortillas was a plus. You have to try their cafe de olla. Strong and sweet. Pricing: $$. We will definitely come back to try more.
Vistes from out of town based on a Instagram post and it was very good. We had the three birria sampler- res, chivo y borrego. They were very tasty. The guacamole was a perfect 10 and the lemonades were phenomenal. I had the limonada con pepino made to order. So delicious! Karla was a great hostess and we enjoyed our lunch here. Friendly staff and great food. The consomés were delicious and green tortillas were a nice surprise.
Visiting from a different state and I wanted to try Mexican food in Texas and this was AMAZING! The margarita was massive, my partner got a agua fresca that was sooo fresh and huge. The lamb on the picture I believe is their specialty, as a girl from Jalisco that birria was absolutely delicious!! And it comes with handmade tortillas, I was amazed. I’ll probably return one more time before returning home. The waiter was very nice and attentive, and the place was very beautifully decorated. This was on a random Wednesday night but I’m surprised it wasn’t busier. Pricing was worth the portion size.
