See All ReviewsThe photo is the French dip special for $18.95!!! This is a few slices of roast beef deli meat on a burger bun with beef broth, not aujus not gravy just broth and not even a handful of French fries. My liver dinner had 2 nice slices of liver and maybe 3 slivers of onions, cold mash potatoes that absolutely were mixed with instant to stretch them. Gravy was runny and I spit the green beans back into their container - mush and definitely not fresh and tasted like tinfoil. There was no tinfoil anywhere to cause this. I understand that everything’s more expensive now, but this is not the quality that I am used to from this establishment sincerely, disappointed. $32 for two meals and I’m still having to cook to feed us.
My friend and I were invited by a regular patron on Saturday February 21. First thing I noticed was every table was filled with people enjoying the food. It was worth the five minute wait. Cassandra was our server and even though she was new, she was very pleasant and observant and frequently checked to see if we needed anything. She's an asset for sure. It was truly a diner experience. Large variety of meal choices and ability to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner at any time of the day. We will definitely return when we are in the area A++++
Stopped for breakfast but it was lunch time, I got chicken fried steak with eggs. The eggs because the yolk has a very deep color is high quality fresh and the taste is outstanding. I would love to know where they get them eggs at? The prices are more than fair and actually good considering what portions they serve. We are highly impressed and definitely plan to return. I really like that this is not some corporate but a local family.
