See All ReviewsWe came in right before closing and the host was gracious and reassuring, she ushered us to stay and order anyway. To be fair, Google says the close at 10pm, but their door says the right time of 9pm. Either way, the food was made fresh and clearly with soul and love. The portions are generous and the atmosphere is relaxed and Ethiopian without being over the top or something it's not. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, and the meals that came from leftovers and I absolutely will be returning as a regular.
I love coming here. Their food and service is top notch. I love the coffee ceremony too. If you are in Houston and want to try a good Ethiopian place Kenna is the right spot.
Kena Cafe never missed with their Kitfo, Shiro, Shefinfin, and Awaze Tibs. Every dish was flavorful, comforting, and tasted like it was made with real care. Simple, authentic, and unforgettable. They have also a unique taste Sambusa and coffee for breakfast, among other varieties of food.
