a week agoWas staying in the hotel crossed? The highway was then walking distance. Great food, great price. Very kind people working there. You know what's got to be good because all the locals eat there.

a week agoVisitor in town, I went for the monday meal. fried chicken, pork chop, sides. I've eaten a lot of places. They all had flavor to their meals. Not this place. I seriously don't even think they own a seasoning. Bland bland bland. Only 2 stars because the apple cobbler tasted like you'd expect, and it helped wash down the cornstarch breeding and the boxed mashed potato taste. Sheesh. I'd feel bad about it but dammit y'all said country. I was excited. Edit: took it to 1 star. Texture of the cobbler was... Biological, to say the least. I will say though the people were really nice. That's one big plus.

a year agoIf you want good down home Country cooking this is the place to go. I had the best chicken livers ever and collard greens were great. The corn fritters were nice and sweet.

a year agoWaitress was very nice and accommodating and very knowledgeable on the menu and food. The food was amazing some of the best we’ve had. It’s country cooking, but it is fantastic. Highly recommend this place.

a year agoToday was the first day serving breakfast and they really knocked it out of the park! They were busy as expected , but the food came out quickly and cooked perfectly. The biscuits were great, the eggs cooked a perfect medium well as ordered and the bacon and home fries were perfect as well. Great job Kloes! It exceeded my expectations!
