Yum! I'm kicking myself for not stopping in sooner. I ordered a migas taco and a bean and cheese taco with bacon amd avocado. They were SO good! The green salsa is great. Super friendly, fast, AND reasonably priced.
I drove here bypassing several well known and great taco places because the reviews were great. I ordered the street taco plate and got 2 beef and 3 the recommended pastor with rice & beans. The staff was super friendly but tacos were filled with mostly fat chunks and greasy meat. I picked half the taco fat out before I could attempt to eat it. I didn't bring it back inside because they were kind and seemed family owned/worked. My total was $14. I wouldn't go again. The reviews that rave about the place are 2-3 years old, they must be cutting cost because its not even close to the "best tacos" in Round Rock or ever. Sadly I had to negatively review the place.
La Texanita #2 is a true local favorite — hearty portions, bold flavors, and great prices. The tacos, enchiladas, and fajitas are all packed with authentic Mexican taste. The service is fast, and the atmosphere is relaxed, making it ideal for casual dining with family or friends. A real neighborhood gem for Tex-Mex comfort food.
