The food was decent. The server was rushing us to order. He also seemed annoyed if we had any questions in regards to menu. It was a shame because I took my mother there for birthday and didn't feel welcomed. I wish it would've been a better experience. The food was decent but bad customer service.
Food was good! We were very disappointed in the service. Our waiter seemed annoyed when my husband had asked a question about an item on the menu. The waiter let our plates pile up, never asked if we needed anything, how are meal was, and asked if we wanted coffee after our dessert while giving us our check. I am hoping our waiter was having a rough day. We will try again since the food was so good. Hopefully, we won't get the same waiter. The service we received is the reason we give it a 3 star. Go for the food, wine and location.
Tentative that our Favorite restaurant had gone downhill based on reviews, we couldn't break tradition. We had our wedding rehearsal dinner there in 1979 and have come back every few years since for our anniversary dinner. Over the years we have settled into a few favorite menu selections. Our selections, this time, were the Navy Bean Soup du jour, correctly chilled Caesar Salad, Shrimp Maison, Frog Legs, and hot Cappuccinos with Chocolate Mousse for the finish. All were delightful as was the staff. The tradition continues.
