Boba tea was great, but the ramen was overpriced for the ingredients used: Charsu was thick cut bacon. Eggs were cooked well, but not marinated. Chicken was deli oven roasted chicken lunch meat cut into cubes. Mushrooms were way past usable freshness. Noodles were soggy, no option for firmness. Miso broth was good, and edamame and green onion were fresh. No chili oil or crisp available, only sriracha. Service took 30 mins for two ramen bowls. The bowl of ramen wasn't bad, but at $20 seemed overpriced for the $3 of ingredients used.
Such a cute hidden gem here in Forest City🍜 We love stopping into Oishii for their Japanese street food. Everything we have tried has been fun and flavorful. We recently tried the new strawberry and Nutella taiyaki dessert and will absolutely be back just for that. It was so good! The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can feel the warmth as soon as you walk in. The shop is also filled with fun and unique Japanese items, which makes browsing part of the experience. We highly recommend this spot for both kids and adults. It is such a special addition to our local community.
Make sure you like every thing you order before you do cus I couldn't eat mine. Not there fault just not for me.... Also My Girlfriend loves there's Boba and drinks tho. They are amazing and have a lot of flavors. And there lil shop inside is cool. they have tons of foreign candt, drinks and items.
This place has amazing food that I have always been wanting to try and the staff and super nice and friendly. There is a nice lil shop to pick up some nic-naks too. Hands down my favorite place.
The staff is friendly, the establishment is run by Christians who also use some of the profits to fund mission trips. There is a little Asian shop connected to the bubble tea house. They have more than just traditional boba; they can turn it into a milkshake also.
I am giving this three out of five stars only for pricing it’s a little expensive if you were going to take your full family, it was $90 for myself, my husband and son to do Roman my baby girl had to roll the pepperoni pizza flavor and my two middle children only got Boba. I will say the food servings were adequate and everything taste delicious. We visited the store and my son bought a jacket which he really loved great place if you have kids that are into anime or Japanese culture. Would definitely be worth it if you have a small family or a date.
This place is in the old Sweet Frog building. They have an anime store with some pretty cool stuff for all ages. They also have a ramon bar, salad in a mason jar, desserts, bobba teas and more. I definitely recommend going! My daughter and I got the miso broth and my honey got the tonkotsu broth, both are good but us and our daughter preferred the tonkotsu broth. In the pictures you will see the Ramon bowl paper where you choose what all you want in your bowl.
My son and I recently visited their new location. They have so much to offer! I was very excited to find that they offer gluten-free and dairy-free options! It's so hard to find local places that offer that. The menu is unique and there are many options to choose from. My son absolutely loved his milkshake. They have some board games and a dart board you can play with too. The gift shop has all kinds of interesting items. Their prices are cheaper than Amazon. All of the employees are very friendly and helpful. Our family plans to visit as much as possible 😀
