See All ReviewsI was visiting from the Bay Area and we decided on this place. I will say the portion for the price was nice, but for my Vermicelli bowl I just felt like I was only eating noodles and bean sprouts. The atmosphere was nice. The pineapple smoothie tasted more like shaved ice and their Boba was not cooked all the way. Definitely giving this place a 3/5.
The food was ok. Portions were generous, but the taste was ok. Not much flavor, mostly tasted vinegar in all items. The Boba drinks are not like the pictures at all, just be aware its simply a smoothie with Boba with very harsh artificial taste. The service was quick on a Saturday night. Parking was easy and it seemed clean. There was a faint smell of sewer in the building which didnt help the experience.
I agree with all the previous reviews. This was the worst service we’ve ever experienced at Pho Koi. We used to come here all the time and really enjoyed it, but unfortunately things have changed a lot — and not for the better. The food quality has definitely gone downhill. The flavors aren’t the same, and the overall experience just wasn’t what it used to be. On top of that, the workers were not friendly at all. There was no welcoming attitude, and customer service felt like an afterthought. While we were there on Saturday, two of the male employees kept hugging and goofing around instead of focusing on customers, which felt unprofessional. You could also hear the workers in the kitchen yelling at each others. Very unprofessional Sadly, we will not be returning and would not recommend this place to anyone. Very disappointing experience.
