2 months agoI was visiting from the Bay Area and we decided on this place. I will say the portion for the price was nice, but for my Vermicelli bowl I just felt like I was only eating noodles and bean sprouts. The atmosphere was nice. The pineapple smoothie tasted more like shaved ice and their Boba was not cooked all the way. Definitely giving this place a 3/5.

2 months agoThe food was ok. Portions were generous, but the taste was ok. Not much flavor, mostly tasted vinegar in all items. The Boba drinks are not like the pictures at all, just be aware its simply a smoothie with Boba with very harsh artificial taste. The service was quick on a Saturday night. Parking was easy and it seemed clean. There was a faint smell of sewer in the building which didnt help the experience.

2 months agoI agree with all the previous reviews. This was the worst service we’ve ever experienced at Pho Koi. We used to come here all the time and really enjoyed it, but unfortunately things have changed a lot — and not for the better. The food quality has definitely gone downhill. The flavors aren’t the same, and the overall experience just wasn’t what it used to be. On top of that, the workers were not friendly at all. There was no welcoming attitude, and customer service felt like an afterthought. While we were there on Saturday, two of the male employees kept hugging and goofing around instead of focusing on customers, which felt unprofessional. You could also hear the workers in the kitchen yelling at each others. Very unprofessional Sadly, we will not be returning and would not recommend this place to anyone. Very disappointing experience.

2 months agoThis place was phenomenal. My wife had Bun and I had Pho. Both dishes had wonderful profile of flavors. We also split a spring roll appetizer and my wife fell in love with the peanut sauce. We finished the meal with a cafe su da and again it tasted completely authentic. I have eaten at a lot of Vietnamese restaurants and this would definitely rank in the top 5 I have eaten at. Highly recommend splitting as the portion size is large or come with a good appetite. For our first time we loved this place. We recommend trying it.

3 months agoWe entered the restaurant at approximately 8:05 p.m. to place a quick order from the menu. We are returning customers and knew exactly what we wanted. Upon entering, a staff member at the podium immediately and loudly stated, “The dining room is closed,” while employees were visibly beginning end-of-night cleaning. The restaurant’s posted closing time is 8:30 p.m., and we fully understand the need to close operations on schedule. However, the tone and overall atmosphere upon our arrival felt unwelcoming, especially given that we were the only guests entering at the time. The interaction conveyed that our business was not wanted. As a result, we turned around and left, despite there being approximately 20 minutes remaining before the stated closing time. This experience does not encourage our family to return. Even near closing, customers should feel welcomed and valued. There are many other dining options that prioritize customer service and hospitality while building lasting relationships with their guests.

7 months agoGreat place for great pho! I’m new to the area and was looking for a great place to eat pho with my kids. We all ordered the brisket large pho. The broth was very flavorful! The price was great comparing to others around. The restaurant is large and clean. Service was very friendly and quick! They offer a selection of boba drinks for a great price, I will be coming back to try those. Highly recommend!! Ask for chili oil!!

9 months agoThe service was very prompt, and the food came out within minutes. I ordered the garlic shaken beef and rice, and the wife got the Pho with beef brisket . I loved the beef with garlic it was very soft and tasty, and it came with a very fresh salad, I was not a fan of the flavor of the Pho, but my wife loved it. Plus, it's right next to the freeway exit, I will come back to explore the menu.

Edited 10 months agoMy favorite place in Corona to enjoy delicious Pho soup. Chicken and beef Pho's are mouthwatering. I love how aromatic, flavorful and heartwarming they are, and also, portions are really generous. With your order you'll receive a plate with some garnishes as bean sprouts, fresh brasil, sliced chili peppers and lime wedges. Additional to the traditional Pho soups, you can try more dishes as noodles or gyozas, which are also tasty. The environment is super family friendly and relaxing, but during dinner time it can get pretty busy and you may be waitlisted for a table. So, just be patient, it won't take long. Usually, service is fast and kind. Ps. Don't forget to try their Vietnamese beers. Totally recommended.
