See All ReviewsTried the killer shrimp and it was definitely killer. Extremely flavorful broth, perfectly cooked shrimp, wonderful bread to soak it up. My only complaint was that there was no vegetables with the dish. I ordered a side of the mixed veggies and it was perfect. Had a great drink and the place is close to a fantastic pastry/gelato shop. From the outside I didn’t have high hopes but this places proves you don’t judge a book by its cover. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in FL.
4 of us, visiting from Michigan, met up and had dinner at Placida Grill tonight. The hostess, Jennifer, made a very friendly first impression and some recommendations. It was quite busy, as there was a large group on the restaurant side, and we sat on the bar side. We were greeted promptly and had drinks served quickly, promptly followed by our hot appetizers (beet salad and calamari….both delicious). Our entrees came soon after and we were pleasantly surprised how well the food was presented and tasted!! We visit the area often, and are happy to have found such an excellent restaurant close by! The crew at Placida Grill is doing a fine job. If you haven’t been there yet, please do! You will be happy you did!
Went for an early dinner. Ordered from the Bar Menu. Fish and Chips and Shrimp platter. Fish was good, very dense and not"wet". Fries were ok...not the best I have had but ok. Tarter sauce was really good. Clae was not mayo based it was vinegar based...surprisingly good. Shrimp was lightly battered no tails. Very good. The cost was $48. We will go again!
