Pookies is a local diamond in the rough. Located in the heart of Bedias it caters to the pickiest of eaters. There you'll find a chicken sandwich that is mouthwatering with spices that will wake up your palate. The tea is sweet as teas should be and fries that are fresh and seasoned. I left fully satisfied with barely room for their flaky and tart gooey lemon cake!!! So delicious. My family will definitely be returning soon.
Wife & I shared a bacon cheeseburger and fries (we had surgery and can't eat much). One of the better burgers I have had in quite a while. Asked for well done fries and they are the first place to actually do them well done!
My husband and I wanted a place to have a decent breakfast and relax in between all our driving. Pookies did not disappoint. It is charming and the owners are amazing. The food was delicious and we actually enjoyed just sitting and talking instead of feeling rushed out. Will definitely visit again and would recommend.
