9 months agoPookies is a local diamond in the rough. Located in the heart of Bedias it caters to the pickiest of eaters. There you'll find a chicken sandwich that is mouthwatering with spices that will wake up your palate. The tea is sweet as teas should be and fries that are fresh and seasoned. I left fully satisfied with barely room for their flaky and tart gooey lemon cake!!! So delicious. My family will definitely be returning soon.

a year agoWife & I shared a bacon cheeseburger and fries (we had surgery and can't eat much). One of the better burgers I have had in quite a while. Asked for well done fries and they are the first place to actually do them well done!

a year agoMy husband and I wanted a place to have a decent breakfast and relax in between all our driving. Pookies did not disappoint. It is charming and the owners are amazing. The food was delicious and we actually enjoyed just sitting and talking instead of feeling rushed out. Will definitely visit again and would recommend.

a year agoGreat small town feel place...The staff is nice and welcoming it was a very relaxing place to stop an grab a bite...The butter cake was a real treat highly recommend..

a year agoHad a pookie burger and fries. Really good, old-style burger. Bun was grilled, patty was cooked perfectly, and veggies on top were crisp. (Not a bit of that annoying juice that sogs out the bun.) Great food for a great price. Worth the stop.

a year agoA hidden gem indeed! Went here during the night time and it was a bit hard to see the restaurant. I suggest they should have a light up sign so many people can discover how good their food was. Servers are really nice and food is so delicious! It’s freshly served and I love how crispy the fries is!

2 years agoTried Pookies for the first time today! I am new to Bedias so I’ve never heard of them before. I got the BLT Basket, which comes with fries & a drink. BLT was delicious!! Bacon was nice & crispy. Perfect amount of Mayo, and the bread was delicious and buttery. My husband got a cheeseburger, and his friend got the Jalepeno burger, they both give it 10/10 💯 The chocolate sheet cake and the Gooey Butter Cake was absolutely delicious and hit the spot!! Perfect small town vibes! I definitely recommend!! We will definitely be going back to try out other menu items

2 years agoCan’t say enough good things about Pookies. The food is utterly incredible and even more incredible are the owners. They were so kind and welcoming to myself and my family. If you find yourself near, this is a must stop!
