I visited Sangam Mart Cafe for breakfast, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Shortly after eating, I became unwell, which naturally raised concerns about the food’s quality and preparation standards. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and reviews their preparation practices.
When we moved to RTP area a few years ago, going to sangam felt like going to Tamilnadu. A guy who was very friendly always greeted customers like family and talked nicely in Tamil and the food had the typical Tamil cuisine taste. This used to be a go to place for us and close to 5 stars. Over the last couple of years, the place has changed quite a bit. I haven’t seen the person who used to talk nicely to customers in Tamil there for a while. I have nothing against other cusines etc, we try all cuisines and enjoy them but sometimes you are looking for authentic Tamil or Andhra or Kerala or Karnataka cuisine and there are go to places for these. Sangam used to be one for Tamil food but is no longer the case. During a recent take out we found that the food quality has changed significantly. The Sambar was like bangalore Sambar (a bit sweet) and vada curry was so bad we had to waste it. Maybe they are facing competition from nearby BLR and trying to imitate ? Anyways disappointed with the change and the downgrade in quality of food.
