See All ReviewsA wonderful experience. Well priced, excellent barbecue (shashlik) and dumplings (mante). The owner and staff are so kind, attentive and happy to share Kazakh culture. Many dishes are staples of any eastern bloc family table and it's cooked home style. Happy to accommodate large parties and special events, I had my birthday and graduation parties there. Try the compot (steeped apple juice).
We are staying in Philly for almost a month now and really missed home made food. This is the right place if you want something delicious. It was my first time trying mampar soup and loved it so much that when we went back to this restaurant I ordered it again ☺️ I recommend lagman soup too (it comes with hand pooled noodles) and nomad bread with any order (lepyoshka in Russian). Authentic central Asian food and great service. Highly recommend. Best if you come here with uber or taxi, street parking is limited. Walking distance from Liberty Bell Center if you’re here as a tourist!
This place is something really special in my heart. We just celebrated my hubby bday here and it was full of wonderful dishes and vibes. If you wanna try authentic and delicious Kazakh and Central Asian cuisine, this is must go! We even took some food to go, since we are from Upstate NY, I really wanted to take some home with us. Thank you!
