My first time Eating at this place , i was very disappointed with the food and service. The waiter Had A Horrible Attitude as if I annoyed him . Food was horrible Unidentifiable Meat ,the smell made my stomach turn 🤮. When I asked to remove the food from the bill since I didn’t touch it , The owner refused to do so , I then asked for a different plate of food which was rice and that was full of grease . The lady/owner was too busy sitting with her boyfriend to resolve the issue at hand. That explains why the restaurant was completely empty 👎👎I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE !!!!!!
This is the Best Asian Restaurant in Largo, FL. Ben is a Master Chef. Their Sushi is large, fresh and tasty. The Service was incredible. Very attentive. The food came out quick! They have a large menu of Laos Cuisine! This place is perfect for large events. Very spacious restaurant. The food will be having you come back and crave for more! This is a must try!
This was my first time trying this restaurant, and honestly, I was very disappointed. The food was not good at all — the flavors were bland, the portions were small, and the quality did not match the price. If the food was expensive but delicious and clearly priced, I would not be upset. What made the experience worse was the pricing. I only noticed after I got home and checked the receipt that the prices on the menu did not match what I was charged: • Tum Luang Pa Bang: menu price $15.95, charged $18.20 • Gang Nor Mai: menu price $15.95, charged $18.20 • Laab Seen: menu price $17.95, charged $19.23 • Gang Kueng Nai: menu price $15.95, charged $18.20 I was never informed about any additional charges. If there is an extra fee for takeout orders or any hidden charges, it should be clearly stated on the menu or explained before ordering. This lack of transparency is unacceptable. The only positive thing was the service — the staff were very friendly and polite.
This was our first time visiting Crying Tiger and the Nam Khao was the standout dish for me. Excellent flavor and textures. The Curry was slightly different than what I am normally used to, but was still very good. The Sausage was perfect. The only complaint I had, which is minor, the Papaya Salad was good and had good heat, but the strips were a little wide compared the the thin strips I am used to. I will definitely be back.
My husband picked this placed randomly as we were looking somewhere new to eat & I'm happy we stopped by! The staff was friendly, food, came out quickly, mind you we were there while another table was there, & they had a big party next to us. They looked like a good time! 😆 The inside is so well decorated & to their homeland. We will most definitely be returning customers! 😊 We got the fried tofu, mou pang, masaman curry, & the crying dragon. All came out fresh & hot. The food was delicious & the presentation was lovely! 😊
We went to eat here last night and it was a great experience all around. I ordered a dish from the Laotian part of the menu and it was amazing. Sorry I don’t remember what it was called but the flavors were new for me and that is what I wanted. Something different from all the food I usually get. They brought out this cute plate for my daughter who is 3 and she loved it. My friend ordered Pad Thai and I tried hers. I normally am not a huge fan of that dish but it was very good and I would even order it next time I come. The staff were super nice and they have a karaoke set up which they turned on and I even sang a couple of songs at the end of the night. We will definitely be back and they are new as of this review (2 months old) so definitely check them out and you won’t be disappointed.
Lovely decorations and fun plate design. I ordered three appetizers from their wide selection, and they were each unique and flavorful. The tempura shrimp especially had amazing flavor. Would gladly visit again!
June 10, 2025: I had the spring roll and the Nam Khao and both were very good! Service was excellent! Will definitely go back! Edited Oct 19, 2025. Reduced stars from 5 to 3: Ordered to-go 2 Tofu dishes and both were VERY SMALL portion. One only had 7 tofu and the other 8 tofu. Not worth the $17 dinner price. See videos. I am certain I’m not going to order take out here anymore.
