Edited 2 months agoI have been taking my dog there to be groomed for years the other day I called and I let the person know that I had a scheduled change because of a snowstorm on Monday I went through the whole explanation of what happened etc. I talk to the girl. I let her know that I could not get there early in the morning because I had physical therapy at 10. She’s like that’s OK. You can come later. We have one girl out and later will be better. I said well I won’t get there until 12-ish and she said that’s fine. I showed up today and she denied the conversation had a different explanation for everything that happened including the fact that I must’ve misunderstood that and she was apologetic at first. It was really OK. I had somebody willing to schedule. The next appointment wouldn’t have been till like next Saturday. I was hardly saying a word. I won’t say I didn’t say anything at all, but she kept apologizing and the next thing you know the owner is telling me to take it outside get out of here. I don’t have to come back the whole bit and whatever so definitely no respect and very rude to their customers. Ironically, this is not the first time this has happened where I was misunderstood and I’m saying me but technically if she should’ve said that she misunderstood because I spent so much time explaining to her that I couldn’t get there by 10 o’clock today so that’s why she’s getting a very low rating. They do a nice job cutting the dogs hair though I’ve had a lot of people rave about how good she looks in her haircuts, but I’m not gonna let them talk to me that way again like I said this is the third time where they have been rude they were doing the last dog. They really probably had enough time to do my dog as well but because they have this policy about not bringing your dog in later than 10 they refused one time in the past they refused regarding cutting my senior dogs’s nails. I never said when I was there I was talking about in the future, they said they didn’t take seniors and then they denied saying that to me so it’s not the first time and I don’t want to deal with liars. God bless anybody that reads this.

5 years agoThis is a great place. They always refer you as your dog’s parent. I have always been satisfied with my dog’s cut.

6 years agoI've never been more disgusted and upset by the service I got here at the Grooming Den in Flemington. I brought my cat into get her nails clipped because I'm unable to hold my cat without getting scratched at home. The woman who worked there was outside smoking seconds before I went in and didnt wash hands before touching my cat. She told me to get my cat out of the crate, no big deal. She then told me to hold my cat while she cut the nails. If I were able to cut the nails alone, I wouldn't be taking her in! I was there holding my cat while getting scratched. The woman cursed several times at the cat and how she couldn't cut the nails. The woman did 3 paws and left the 4th paw undone because she couldn't do it. She told me to hold my cat better or shell run off. First of all, I'm the customer - THEY should be taking care of the cat, instead I was working off a sweat trying to get my cat to behave while the woman just sat there. She was rude and the place was filthy! I highly suggest going elsewhere! I'm so frustrated!

9 years agoDO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR DOG HERE! I called in the morning and they said I could bring my dog now so I got dressed and did. They said she would be ready between 1 and 2 so I call at two and she has yet to be worked on. The woman on the phone said she would start her now and would be ready in a half an hour. The lady on the phone was BEYOND rude to me. Then I receive a phone call 8 minutes later stating that Bella is ready. I question how she's ready so quickly and was ignored and told to come pick her up. I get in my car and leave and when I get there I am told to find a different groomer that suits me better. I said believe me I will this is the worst customer service I have ever seen. The woman I spoke to on the phone got up from grooming a dog and came at me saying "what did you just say?". It looked like she was gonna hit me. They were extremely rude, trashy and not to mention the place was disgusting. I would never ever bring my dog here again.

10 years agoWe've been using them for 3 years and have yet to be dissatisfied with the service. They take their time to take care of my dog. I couldn't imagine using anyone else.

13 years agoOur experience at the Grooming Den couldn't have been better. Our dog was well cared for and treated with kindness. She had an oatmeal bath (to help with her dry skin) and nails clipped and when I came to pick her up she had a ribbon on her collar and was perfectly clean and shiny and happy as could be. Also, the women there are so friendly and anyone can tell they love animals. The Grooming Den was recommended to me by a neighbor and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
