My husband took me on a wonderful date last night to Tony’s Table. Everything was delicious!!! 😋 All fresh and made from scratch. The food belongs in a high class restaurant, but it’s like a cozy little diner setting in La Porte. The appetizer we got was Tue Angry Goat, a goat cheese log in a slightly spicy tomato purée and herbs dip & some toasted seasoned baguette to dip in it. It looks like a solid cheese log, but felt like it was slow roasted in that dish (the dish was HOT!), and the goat cheese was really melted. You took the golden spoon to “cut” it and it just squished all over in yummy creaminess mixed in with the tomato sauce. This is how they describe it in their menu 👇 The Angry Goat A temperamental classic that's impossible to resist. We take fresh tangy goat cheese and bake it until it's creamy and bubbling inside a crock of our house-made Arrabiata sauce. This fiery tomato sauce is fueled by red chili peppers and garlic, providing a spicy kick that is perfectly cooled by the velvety chèvre . Served hot with crusty toasted baguette. I got the Pasta A La Norma, and was NOT disappointed. This Is how they describe it 👇 An elegant homage to our mother, this dish features delicate ditalini pasta and buttery white beans bathed in a silky, garlic infused emulsion. Complemented by vibrant, wilted baby spinach and our juicy grilled chicken. Dusted with aged Parmesan, it's a masterclass in balanced, soulful flavors Marty got the Garlic and Herb Grilled Chicken. I didn’t get the menu description, but you can see the fresh green beans and seasoned baby potatoes and all the YUMMINESS!!! 😋 We can’t eat there all the time, but will definitely return for special occasions and to take distinguished guests out for a nice meal! 🥘 😋 The place was very clean and the staff were a breath of fresh air. They were attentive and made us feel welcome and at home.
Our service was excellent! Our waitress Emma was the best! She was so kind and helpful "it was Our first time here" our food was delicious! My husband got the mammoth and i got biscuits and gravy! We will definitely be going back.
Up late? Out late? Hungry? Stop what your doing because nothing you are headed to eat could possibly compare with what I just got! Tony’s Table had their food truck up and running out back, and you better get there quick! I showed up just before they opened at 10 PM and by the time I left the parking lot was filling up and there was a line! Everything I have heard was true. The flavor is unbelievable. Even the french fries are phenomenal. I got the Chimi Ripper 🌭 and even the bread is a work of art. Who makes hot dogs on baguettes? ~ Tony does! I can’t wait to come back with the Try it Twins! (open until 1 AM, but I don’t know if I would wait that long. I won’t be surprised if they sell out.) #ShopLocal #eatlocal #tonystable #eatbetter #supportsmallbusinessowners #TryItTuesday
The chicken strip special was delicious with an option of steak fries, coleslaw or pasta salad! The food portion was perfect. Highly recommend the house Island Heat sauce! Tony encouraged us to try it and now I’m hooked! The service was excellent with Tony, his wife, and our server making sure everything was superb! We ended the meal with the cannolis which were spot on!
Tony’s Table is one of those rare places that instantly makes you feel at home the moment you walk through the door. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between cozy and lively — warm lighting, inviting décor, and the comforting buzz of people genuinely enjoying their time. It feels less like dining out and more like being welcomed into someone’s home for a truly special meal. What makes Tony’s Table even more memorable is the staff. Everyone there treats you like family from the moment you arrive. The service is attentive without ever feeling rushed, and the team goes out of their way to make sure every guest feels valued. You can tell they take real pride in what they do, and that genuine hospitality creates an experience that’s hard to find anywhere else. And of course, the food is simply incredible. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared, bursting with fresh flavors and beautifully presented. Whether you’re trying one of their classic favorites or something new, it’s clear that quality and care go into every plate that leaves the kitchen. Each bite feels like comfort and creativity coming together perfectly. Tony’s Table isn’t just a place to eat — it’s a place to relax, connect, and enjoy food made with heart. If you’re looking for a restaurant where the atmosphere is welcoming, the staff feel like family, and the food leaves a lasting impression, Tony’s Table is truly something special.
Food was delicious and amazing! My husband and I had Valentines reservations here and it was fantastic! Staff has to be asked for refills and condiments, but otherwise service was good. My husband ordered steak and chop, and he said it was the best steak hes ever had. The grilled char on it was perfect, he loved it. I had the shrimp Stuffed salmon, delicious. They even subbed out my potatoes for extra asparagus, which I definitely appreciated. Our first dinner experience here, but will most definitely not be our last. Thanks Tony's Table for a great Valentines dinner night out ❤️
Are all the reviews wrong? I had one of the worst waffles in my life. Cardboard, probably freezer burnt. Look at my pics and see the crumbs coming off the waffles. CRUMBS FROM A WAFFLE ? My waffles looked EXACTLY like others posted here, like a cookie cutter. Same shape, just toasted darker. Can you say Gordon Food Service pre frozen? Letgo my eggo. Asked for a couple eggs on the side only to be told "we don't do eggs". Huh? Hello? Breakfast place much? Added a side of bacon. How can you ruin bacon? Well they did somehow. Nice thick pieces that had been obviously pre-cooked and NUKED to within an inch of being burnt. Shoe leather, not a drop or hint or sheen of cooking grease to be seen. The coffee was decent tho. Place was empty at 8AM -- shoulda heeded that red flag. The irony is the largest sign behind the counter states in bold letters "FRESH". huh, coulda fooled me. TBF I will brave a return trip at some point for a sammy. How can you ruin a sammy? We will see...
Stopped by this tucked in restaurant for breakfast while on a visit. We were greeted by the owner and the dog and our party got the most attention. This place is dog friendly outside on their patio. Our pooch received a bowl of water with ice and lots of pats on her head. Food is delicious and the sausage gravy is some of the best I’ve ever had! Definitely will be back. The croissants are perfect.
